ST. ALBANS COMMUNITY SHOW
Tim and Leanne have become one of the most significant forces on the music scene in Vermont over the past decade. They have almost single-handedly elevated the status of storytelling to its current place among the region's most important elements at fairs, festivals, schools, celebrations, and other cultural events.
My most recent interaction with them was via their presentation of a Halloween program designed for children and their families at the public library in St. Albans. They remain one of the energetic, insightful, and committed acts I have the pleasure of working with. They have a natural instinct for presenting material that they care about. They have both been instrumental helping make storytelling a center-piece of many events in Vermont, giving the region recognition for its success in presenting and supporting storytelling. Tim and Leanne's enthusiasm, contributions, and participation as organizers and consultants to presenting organizations is particularly noteworthy.
Tim and Leanne demonstrate an extremely high level of understanding and skill. Their rich experience as performers makes them uniquely qualified for any event or program. I can state with unqualified confidence that their skills exceed any standards that could be applied to storytellers and musicians in general. Mark Sustic

VERMONT ARTS COUNCIL EVALUATION
The program presented by Tim Jennings and Leanne Ponder was of high calibre, polished and professional. These two artists are equally-strong performers working as a tight-knit ensemble, capable of holding an audience without diminishing energy, intensity, or spontaneity from beginning to end. Material is so well prepared & learned that the rapid exchanges of dialogue and the shifts from narration to charecterisation (not always matched to the gender of the speaker) flow effortlessly.
The speaking voices have pleasing timbres and project well; the diction is clear. Mr. Jennings uses his wonderful vocal flexibility to make his characters vividly alive, and is complemented by the husky-voiced elegance and animation of Ms. Ponder.
Music played on harp and concertina provided a refreshing change from human voices, and enhanced the moods created by the stories they accompanied. The audience joined in humorous songs for a change of pace. The listeners, children and adults alike, were equally enthralled by these tales for an October night.
Both artists obviously regard their art very seriously and derive much pleasure performing it. I definitely recommend their inclusion in the Touring Artists Register.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION
Thanks for your fine performance at the Saturday Night Halloween Party, the culmination of our Annual Planning Conference. Our membership is diverse and their tastes individual but they were all enthralled. The ambiance engendered by the music, followed by the folk style of storytelling captivated the audience. Hours after your performance you were still being discussed enthusiastically. Thank you so much for enhancing our weekend. Ann Wall, Conference Coordinator.

MAPLE CORNER COMMUNITY CENTER (VAC sponsor evaluation)
- Promotional material
- Attention to pre-performance details
- Working relationship with sponsor
- Engagement with audience
- Overall success of event
- Quality of performance
Comments: Tim and Leanne have a wonderful ability to size up an audience and tailor their performance to it-- they held the attention of even the youngest children. Everyone present remarked on how wonderful they thought the performance was, and many hope for a return engagement. Tim sent promotional material in the next mail after we reached our agreement. He and Leanne were extremely professional and congenial in all our dealings.
